How much time would court proceedings buy me, I have a newborn, and really cannot be displaced at this time. I believe the landlord will be impossible to talk to, he never told me that he wanted the apartment, he just contacted his attorney.

I know I don't have much, but I want to make full use of whatever rights I do have.
