I have been told the same thing (planning on moving out end of June but lease goes till Sept.) and am worried about being charged for the full term. I was told by a broker that the landlord would only charge me for the days that the apt. goes unrented (since they have to re-paint, etc.. about 3-7 days) assuming they get a new renter pretty quickly. Anybody know for sure how this works?
