I will probably be sued for the rent during the 2 1/2 months my old apartment went vacant. My situation is a little unusual as the landlord raised the rent. I was paying 1895, and she raised it to 2150. Of course, the apartment went unrented. They tried for one month to get 2150, then went down to 2050, then 1995, then 1895 and finally got someone in at 1825. If they had allowed me to move someone in at 1895, I would have had it filled the day after I left.

So we'll see how it goes!
