Anyone use the retalitory eviction law as a defense?

I am facing my own eviction and would like to hear from anyone regarding the anti retalitory eviction statute of the NYS real property law.

Is this a good defense? This case is not for non payment of rent. Just a simple we want you out at the end of the lease.

I know already, I just need six months until I close on my new condo.
