Harassment

Postby Concourse » Sat Aug 21, 2004 8:56 am

Sorry to keep pestering everybody with questions. It sometimes seems that months if not years go by in which everything is hunky-dory with my landlump, and then all of a sudden I get problems on top of problems.

My latest problem is harassment. As a result of the preferential rent spat I have with him now, the landlord has is now harassing me? How? I'd rather not say publicly. Suffice to say the DHCR itself once recommended I file a harassment complaint against him, I did, and the DHCR failed to do anything. Now he has stepped up his harassment.

I am meeting with a lawyer and may just have that person handle it. But in the event the remendy is a harassment complaint--has anyone here ever successfully filed such a thing and what are the alternatives, if any? thanks.
A stupid landlord is a joy to behold.
