Does anyone know where of a website or a place where I might find a list or census of the amounts of rent that rent stabilized tenants generally pay, for a certain size apartment, in a certain area, during a certain year?
There is no master list of rents. Even RS units don't have a list of rents, legal or otherwise. There are a few sites (we have one that's old) that lists buildings with rent regulated units in them (RS and RC), but that doesn't tell about which units are regulated, or the rents.
For unregulated apartments, you could try some of the broker web sites and you might get an idea what the going prices are.
You can try the 1940 census at ancestry.com, but more recent censuses are not available (75 years) and they don't have rents.
If you live in the building for which you seek data, and if there's a recent MCI, you can FOIL the MCI application documents where they have to include a list of units and rents.
