DHCR proposes rule changes

DHCR has published a Notice of Proposed Rule Making in the State Register dated June 8, 2005, pp. 24-30. Changes are proposed to rules covering preferential rents, rent increases for buildings
receiving tax exemptions and abatements, inclusion of commercial space in calculating MCI rent increases, and DHCR proceedings.

Public comments on the RSC proposals are due by 5 days after the hearing. Comments on the other proposals are due 60 days from June 8.
