There was an article in yesterday's New York Times, "Walling Out the City that Never Sleeps" by Rie Woodward (page F7). While the writer's noise issues were different than ours, her approach to a solution is interesting. I was able to pull it out of "www.nytimes.com/2004/04/01/garden". If you can't access the article that way, go into www.nytimes.com on the net and enter the writer's name into the archive section on top. It should pull it up. I'm afraid I'm not as computer literate as many of you and have no idea how to cut and paste the article here.
