Thanks for the correction, Anna. I'd been mis-informed. Control is just as, if not more important. Once that goes, landlords will pretty much have their way with the rest of housing in NYC.
As I hear further, there are tenant lawyers forming groups to begin programs to fight for continuation of control. I'll be surfing the net for any info I can find and will post my findings to this forum.
Rents are increasing at astoudning rates and services and conditions are deteriorating at faster rates. Tenants need to do more than what was done when stabilization went under. We've realy got no one to blame but ourselves.
