one of you frequent flyers: please help here: there's a law which says if the landlord doesn't give you a receipt, he has to prove how much was paid (like, it's not the tenants job to prove it in court). this happened to a friend a couple of years ago: she paid cash (don't do that!). he sued for money she really did pay.
