I understand what you are going through, because I am living it too. My
downstairs neighbour insists that we are walking too loudly, opening our
balcony door at ungodly hours of the night, and in general just making too
much noise while she is trying to sleep. As it is I generally work until
11:30pm and she says that she is in bed by 10:00pm, so my everyday life
which includes walking around the apartment is disturbing her. She has come
upstairs and yelled at my girlfriend for using her HealthRider( you know the
one that advertises itself as quiet enough to watch tv while you are using it)
and she has written us a letter threating to call our landlord, as we are
not doing anything outrageously wrong we ar getting very annoyed with her
persistent threats. Anyways I am searching the Net to find out what my rights
are and will be sure to let you know when I find out what they are. If you
could let me know what you find out I would be much appreciated. Thanks.
