You wont get evicted anytime soon. LL has to appear in court if its illegal. Dont let anyone into your apt. Inspectors dont just walk the streets looking for illegal apts. A report has to be made before they have to investigate. Even then, the only one responsible for letting them in is the LL. Since you can prove you've been living there many years, the courts will be sympathetic. You will not be held responsible for participating in any scheme. You just wanted a place to live. The worst that will ultimately happen, if it is illegal, you will, months down the line have to move, but the LL may have to pay you back some of the "rent" you paid.
