Two points though:

If you had responded directly under Ginger, instead of under Bruce, she would have received a copy in her email, if tha is her real email address.

If Ginger is stabilized in NYC, the lease renewal is an absolute right by law, with a few of exceptions, none of which is bankruptcy.
