Hi Tenant.Net. This is stemming from the succession rights case I talked about a few weeks back.
The landlord's agent is still refusing to do repairs. The situation that we are living in is becoming more and more dangerous. Cracked, falling ceilings, gate blocking fire escape, no smoke detectors, unsafe plastering, bathroom utilities are a mess, old cabinets, holes and cracks in walls (dangerous!). Now, he is in contempt of court for the C violations (most serious??). However, he has failed to do any repairs or contact us regarding the next violations (B, I think.) We constantlty have to run back and forth to court. How much more can we do than what is currently being done? Is videotaping the apartment and showing it in court sufficient? Maybe getting some type of media involed (UPN9 on your Side?)? Please help!
He is not repairing anything and all the violation dates are passing. Thanks.
