You basically have answered your own question ... you say that you have a "great space" and that nonetheless you'd like a few more things. There is no way the owners can "keep you down" in this situation, you are the one who chose to live there, and should you leave, that act alone will speak more to the owners than any complaints, letters written, etc.

You've probably learned that "what you see is what you get" in terms of real estate. Construction of a laundry room or storeroom doesn't happen overnight, and even a new building can have problems. So if you don't see these at your viewing don't assume they'll be there. Harsh but true.
