: My superintendent, having worked in this co-op for 18 years has recently been fired. After arbitration, he is being evicted by management/co-op. He has filed a suit in Supreme Court stating wrongful discharge. Can he seek an injunction from being evicted since a higher court may overturn the arbitrator's decision to terminate him?

Yes, he 'can seek' an injunction in Supreme Court. Will he get one? Depends on the case, the judge, his lawyer. If you want to help him stay, get in touch with his lawyer, make sure s/he is also up on L&T eviction law or consults with someone who is. I'm not sure, but the coop might have to evict him through court like any other tenant.
