Income verification

Postby Maha928 » Sun Jul 31, 2016 2:31 am

Hi everyone! I have a question about the tax verification. My sister recently moved in with us and we desperately need a bigger appartment. HPD is asking yo verify that she has been living with me and they are asking for her taxes. She has her old address on her income tax. How do they check all of that?! We did her taxes online and we might just change the adress in the computer. Do they actualy contact IRS to check that? Thanks in advance.

First, please tell us what kind of building this is and why is HPD involved?

Not familiar with ML buildings and there are several different varieties, so a rule for one could be not the same in another. Don't suggest that you give false evidence; submit what was submitted to the IRS.
