No Lead inspection despite request

Postby Schmoo64 » Fri Aug 16, 2002 2:42 pm

Thanks in advance for your help. I have another post on the General Board regarding a pigeon problem (proably should have posted here since we are stabilized).

I filled out the papers (annual notice) for lead paint stating that we now have a child under 6 residing in our apartment. That was approximately six months ago and, despite several inquiries, the landlord has yet to send anyone to inspect. We now have a 10-month old. We are planning on moving anyway and I'm wondering if this will help us break our lease. Please know that I make sure that our baby is not "Chewing" the baseboards in the meantime :-)

I have a feeling that the landlord will want us out anyway since we are paying 1180 for a one bed with a sleep loft UES but I need to have some ammunition in case.

Thanks,
Lori
