Getting a new Refrigrator

Postby Cylon452 » Tue Jun 13, 2017 2:56 am

Hello all

I found this Thread from 2003 on this forum:
http://tenant.net/phpbb3/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=2288

The Frig i have now is on it's last legs. I know the LL is supposed to be responsible for the Frig and replace it. I want to buy a new one i like and i saw in a Store. i do not want a second hand Frig and or small one. I seen one i like and would like to purchase it.

Can i get the approval from the LL in writing that it is okay for me to buy the Frig.
Of course if the frig needs service that would be on me. If he/she says it okay in writing there should be no issues with eviction. Am i correct ?

This frig was purchase new from the previous LL and i went with him to select it at Home Depot. It is a 18.5 cubic feet Frig. 67 inchs high, 28 inches wide and 29inches deep with a 4.05 cubic feet freezer.

TenantNet I read the 2003 post above you left for Willa. This is now 2017. Has anyone purchased their own Frig here without incident?

Thank you again for reading my post.

You had already asked about this in a different thread. And it appears we answered your question. Even so, this should be a continuation of the previous thread, not a new one. So I'm locking this thread. Please follow the forum rules.
