POLICE REPORT SOUGHT - STONEWALLED

I am seeking a police report/statistics/whatever that, displays a logistical accounting of the number of burglaries reported for my building for the year 2006. (I am a tenant.) I need NO robbery specifics such as goods stolen, resident's name, etc. The local presinct refuses to give me such info because, as they justified, I was not personally burglarized. I want this info for an upcoming court appearance. Actually, all crimes reported in my building would be helpful for my presentation. ___ Am I entitled to any such info and how can I obtain it?
