Jury Trial - Any Real Experiences?

Postby Retaliation » Sat Apr 14, 2018 2:47 pm

Does anyone have any Jury Trial experience? Also,I cannot find any Jury Trial waiver clause on my renewal lease. Can I ask for Jury Trial before the adjourned Court date? Thanks

I believe a jury trial request would go on your answer, so you may need to amend it. Ask the court clerk if, when and how to do that. I think there is a time limit.

However, it might not be wise to ask for a jury trial. Many/some jurors are not tenant sympathetic according to some tenant attorneys. A jury does not necessarily improve your chances.
