The NYC Rent Guidelines Board has issued Rent Guidelines Order #54 covering leases commencing from October 1, 2022 through September 30, 2023. For one year apartment renewals, the increases is 3.25% and for two-year leases, the increase is 5%.

The new DHCR form RTP-8 (dated 7/22) for all Rent Stab renewal leases is here:

Landlords are supposed to use this form and this version. Due to last year's RGB where there were different increase rates for 6 months, things got confusing. Ask (or tell) you landlord to used the most current version of this form.
