PLEASE RECOMMEND A LAWYER

Postby victory » Thu Dec 06, 2018 6:16 pm

Hello .
I need a lawyer asap for: holdover trial (managing agent claims I've harassed him) in manhattan. MY LAWYER SHOULD REPRESENT TENANTS ONLY, HAVE HOLDOVER TRIAL EXPERIENCE IN NYC. The sooner I have responses the better, as trial (not a preliminary hearing/date but actual trial will ensue) date is relatively near.
Thank you so much.

This is a duplicate of your other post. Please don't make duplicate posts. (locking this thread, respond on the initial thread).

I can't say for certain, but I don't think that claims of tenant harassing landlord will hold up in housing court (it might in civil or supreme court). In Housing Court, the LL needs to plead either nuisance or lease violation. Most of our advertisers are 100% tenant attorneys (ask them when you call).

Has the matter been put out to trial, or is it still in the Resolution Part? Have you put in an answer? Put in any motions?
