I live in an apartment and I did not sign the lease. I informed my room mate I was moving out and she told me that I still need to give her 30 days notice per federal law. If I don't, she said she can get a judgement against me because I wasn't going to give her my full amount of next months rent, just part of it because I won't be there the entire month. HELP!
