I received in my mail a letter from my landlord stating they are no longer going to accept checks from Citibank accounts as of June 1, 1999 because of policy changes instituted by Citibank. Can a landlord refuse a rent check because he does not like the policy of the bank a tennant business with? Any ideas of where I can go for help? I would greatly appreciate any assistance.
