Its worse, with our new technologies. most people in fact everyone including you
has access to once they get your social security number. your drivers license
violations, records all the places you ever lived in your life.Medical records
, psychological records, phone records anyone can acess who you ever called
in your life by getting your past phone bills, Oh if you want someones bank
statements thats now all legal for the landlord or anyone else checking up on someone
. Thanks to big brother. I think we should remind those that are checking up
on us, of that fact. let me have your social security number, so I can
check up oon thsse things on you(Mr landlord) and see if they like it. And thats only the
tip of the iceburg, of what information can be accessed by anyone
Including landlords, or even you or I.

: They look up Credit History (TRW report) for bad credit ,deliquency, bankruptcy and judgement. That's standard. Some will look to see if you have a criminal record...but past crimes for which you did time is not necessarilly a legal reason to be denied housing. Its discrimition in some states....
: Some will contact past landlords, jobs. Finally current paystubs are a must....
