I'm no expert. and I can sort of know that you won't like my suggestions.
But it souns to me you don't even have a landlord that owns your building
but a speculator. Now I know this is difficult to take. But, I would,
make his life difficult for forcing you out in and unfriendly manner.
The homesteaders in NYC AKA squatter in the lower east side, would
change there locks build a nice big barracade behind there door and windows,
. it then will become simply to difficult to kick a tenant out.but thats
a bold step.But, if you really want to keep your apartment your going to
have to take sterps such as this. And you know of you did it it would
cost him more in legal fees and othere expenses. he will proably just keep the
rent the same.But who knows?
