older people in our building are getting shafted. they have plumbing repairs and leak stains and peeling paint on ceilings that have remained unrepaired for years. tell me that isn't against the law! This one older tenant has her lawyer going after the landlord over this kind of thing, coupled with a mess they made that i saw in her apartment whch is unbelievable with dirt everywhere. let me tell ya, this whole thing stinks and its because of this landlord crap especially the new landlords that have bought in to buildings in this city over the past ten or more years and they ar playing dirty. They are breaking the law, and its obvious. why don't we stop it because it's possible. i do like the comment about working with THEM as oppose to against. we should not be fighting a war and this is not the middle east or Bosnia or any other war zone but it getting to feel like it.
