Please renters,

Don't buy their argument that by paying so called market-rate you will get improved services, more housing etc. That is all lye! We are a month to month tenants paying market rate with no kind of protection what so ever. Landlord has the option to kick us out any time he feels like. He may or may not even give us a lease (a peace of mind) and keep us on month to month bases for as long as wants and there is noting we can do. Not to mention unregulated rent increases which could happen any time.

Improved services?… Yeah right! With the market rate we are paying, you should see the kind of place we have to live in. Old lead base paint peeling off, you can imagine the rest of the condition of the house.

New housing?…. If these Landlords can't fix the hazardous and miserable condition of the houses they already own, while charging us tenants the Market rate. You will be fooling yourselves that these Landlords will create new housing. All you will be helping them with by paying "market rate" is, create new BANK ACCOUNTS for them.
