I would request your own meter, and, it might tbe the law. If you want,
I might to it. hire a licensed contractor, to put a meter in for
your apartment. why not? You attempted to get a valid accounting in
writing from the landlord and he refused. so put in your own meter
duduct it from your future rents.Ask the electrial contractors to
estimate how much you could have been overcharged in this situation,(and get it in writing before
the do the work) then
. have a new electrical system put in. Also I think its safer to have
your own electrical line to your apartment without feeds going off it.
