I'm not sure about this but I know that landlords are required to keep
the heat at least 68 degrees in the winter for tenants . it stands to reason,
that a landlord could not let your apartment go above a ceratin degree
of temperature becuase of heat .Call HPD file a complaint.Aso document,
the heat with thermostat, bya third party, and if you have to raise the
question in housing court remem, ber you have a rightt o jury trail,
though i think only 10 out of thousans do it.
: ever since a 24-hour pizza joint opened directly underneath my 2nd floor apartment, it's been a sauna in here! it's okay for now, but i am fearing the summertime. i've tried talking to the manager but he says there's nothing he can do. is there anything i can do???
