My landloard is not going to return the security deposit of $900. can i save some money by not paying rent for last 18 days of lease? Landlord has not done any maintenance except replacing old washer dryer with another old one(bad condition) and also refusing all repaires except elec. or water(if any).

Is there any law to handle these owners?

Please guide.
