NY Eviction Law

Posted by Linda on February 13, 1999 at 16:15:41:

I am doing research and need help. An author stated that in Manhattan, a tenant
can live in an apartment for 18 months without paying rent...and that the
landlord could not evict until after 18 months. What has he left out?
Landlords must have some type of recourse. Please help!
