Sounds like the broker is just trying to protect his fee. I used a broker when I moved up here, and my broker introduced me to management of each place in which I expressed an interest. Maybe you should get another broker. Don't sign any contract with the broker until you've read it and agree to all the terms. If the broker insists on keeping you in the dark about management, dump him!
