I am in FL and want to break my lease. Para 17 in my lease states I need to pay 3 months rent but I have physically taken letters to the office and the only thing the want to do for me is move me to another apt. in the complex and I will pay $350 to move, new deposits, and have to give 30 days notice! FL Statute Ch. 83 states that I can terminate the lease if I can prove that the landlord failed to comply with materially provisions in the rental agreement! What are materially provisions?
Thanks!
