My mother-in-law is the manager at an apartment complex in Anaheim California. Recently, as per her boss "the owner", she posted a 3 day eviction notice on the door of an apartment. The tenant has claimed that this violates a privacy right and humiliates the resedents. He is claiming that he can now sue the manager over this. Can this be done ? Is there a law on how a 3 day eviction notice can or can not be delivered ?
