I read the DHCR code and it said that if a landlord threatens death to
obtain rents its a felony crime. However, it seems to be different a different
opinion. why? After reading the Voice article about the the landlords that
contemplate murder for more rents it should be obvious that someone
wnats to scare tenats into paying more rents and that in my mind is just
extortion. so all we tenats should be filing RICO claims perhaps.
