I believe that the notice requirements are found in Real Property Tax Law section 421-a(2)(f). You can find the statute at http://www.assembly.state.ny.us/ALIS/laws.html, which is the New York State Assembly website which contains all of the New York statutes.

: Does anyone know exactly what are the notice requirements for a landlord receiving a J-51 tax abatement? Must the notice in each lease include language referring to the date of the lease to which it is attached; must the notice itself be dated; and must the landlord sign the notice?
