Forget the law. let's please use some common sense here. If this pest is willing to leave so long as you reimburse her by returning some rent money -- DO IT! Whattayakiddin?? The peace of mind (and peace of safety) is certainly worth a few lousy bucks. Hell, through in some more money just to get these creeps out of your life.
