I've never heard such nonsense from Clarence. I have noisy neighbors and my strategy for dealing with them does not involve being a snitch.
After several requests that they stop their children from repeatedly and continuously banging on adjoining walls, and their refusal to comply, I just turn my stereo speakers facing the wall and crank up music VERY loud. Fortunately, I can afford to do this as there are no other tenants within earshot. (Only a 3 unit building, and other tenant is rarely home).
I am also attempting to pressure the landlord into doing something about the situation, though I wouldn't want to see anyone evicted.
