Buy 2 carbon Monoxide detectors for about $40 each and it might save your life.......just a thought!

: Is your landlord responsible for making sure your apartment is protected from carbon monoxide? I read that you can get carbon monoxide poisoning from fireplaces when they aren't properly ventilated. Are you responsible for making sure there is adequate ventilation, or can you request that your landlord to check it for you?
