In the past, New York City mayors often declared an unofficial moratorium on evictions around this time of year. And many marshals may choose not to execute warrants around holiday time. Although it's legal to evict people on Saturday, I don't know of any marshals who do any type of work on Saturday.

: I heard that this week the marshal can't execute warrants of eviction. Is it that the court is not issuing warrants? Do you have any information?
