Well did you approach the Landlord .....Nicely or are you and OLD
FART....and demanded they get rugs?

So why dont you get a lawyer and, sue for warranty of habitability, you
cant enjoy your apartment anymore becaue the neighbors keep you up all
hours due to not abiding by the lease which states 80% of the floors
must be covered.

I mean with all the years you were getting really cheap rent you should
have a few bucks saved to pay for a lawyer..... unless you pissed it all
away figguring a rent controlled apartment is your god given right, to
pay a lot less rent then anyone else, then when you need help......
"I cant afford one!!!"....uh duh

+++++++++++++++++++++++
I live in a rent controlled apartment in Yonkers,NY. The lease states that the apartment floors should be 80 percent covered. Recently, new neighbors have moved
: have moved in above me. It is obvious from the noise level that the floors are not covered 25 percent. I have complained to the management and
: nothing has happened. Is there any legal action I can take against the landlord and/or the new neighbor.
: Thanks for any help.
