I am the new staff person for the Louisville Tenants Association.
I will be doing over the phone counseling to tenants regarding their
rights as well as keeping abreast of local, low-income housing issues.
Also, my director would like me to explore and, hopefully, begin
organizing tenants unions.
If anyone has any helpful experiences, suggestion, thoughts,
ideas, etc. regarding organizing tenants I would very much like to
hear them.
Also, if anyone knows any particular groups that would be a good
model or resource or any people that would be good contacts please
let me know.
