: I am the undertenant in a legal sublease aggreement. The apartment is in NYC and the building is rent stabilized. The overtenant changed recently changed the mailbox lock
: So I can't get mail where I live.

: Does that constitute an illegal lock-out. Who can I go to and get help with this matter.

People really are strange: why would she do that? you said "sublease": does she live in the apt? are you roommates?

If she does not live in the apt, and she refuses to give you a new key, try calling her landlord. But I personally would not trust her and I would just rent a box at the USPS or some commercial place.
