To the question of why I didn't call the landlord or super, I did, and I left
messages, but it was midnight and they didn't get back to me. We did have keys,
they just weren't working. Thanks for all the advice, unfortunately we moved to
the city only last month from out of state and haven't found an insurance company
yet. Any suggestions? Too bad for us. We do know the importance though and have
had renters insurance everywhere else that we have lived. It is good to know
that my problem is with the landlord and not the locksmith. The Credit company
has agreed to put the amount in an intrest free status until the end of October
though, so that had given us a little time to work this out. Thanks for everyones
help in this matter.
