I'm a month to month tenant living in a private house basement studio apartment. When I first moved in my landlord said cash only. He gave me a receipt for my security deposit and my 1st months rent after that he said no more receipts. What can I do, I have no proof that I paid my rent since it was all in cash. Is this legal?
