Judge Paints a Portrait of the Artist as Tenant

Posted by Mark.Smith on September 09, 1999 at 13:00:40:

Today's online edition of The New York Times has a story, Judge Paints a Portrait of the Artist as Tenant, about a landlord's attempts to evict an artist who uses his apartment, in part, as an art studio. The housing court judge found in favor of the tenant.

This story has previously been reported in the New York Law Journal and in this forum, but The New York Times story has a few more details, and several quotes from Mike McKee. And who wouldn't want to read those words of wisdom?
