I have recently terminated my lease. My LL is trying to get me to pay a
"termination fee". I have refused to do so. I know the apartment is rented
and I gave the proper notice. I have retained an attorney to sue the apartment
owners if this "debt" is reported to the credit bureau. I have also discussed a
class action against this apartment management company for putting "illegal" clauses in these
lease agreements. Please email me ASAP if you have been through a similar
