Sept 25th demo around the Pacifica issue and free speech in Washington Square Park

On Saturday, Septmember 25th, from 12PM to 430PM there will be a rally/teachin/etc. around the issues raised by the Pacifica foundations forcible closing of their radio station KPFA in berkeley several weeks ago. This issue is a national and local one because Pacifica has been engaged in a four year struggle nationwide and locally in NYC at WBAI Radio with four years on conscious union busting and other shenanigans in NYC. For those seeking more information on this subject extensive information is posted at http://www.wbai.net and http://www.radio4all.org/freepacifica. The later site is a virtual Library of Congress on this issue. As a New Yorker I am well aware of how the landlord-tenant issue is an ongoing pain for tens of thousands of New Yorkers.
